Iloynar Krasis is the half-elf (wood-elf) Mayor of Astrakane. He gave the quest to the party, and gave them information concerning several people to interview in regards to the disappearances occurring in the hamlet. He completely hates the Temple Priest.
He appeared to like the party, and upon an insight check from Varjo, he told them the complete truth. He did not omit anything except some of the more gruesome details that did not need to be stated.
Atresk is the half-orc (human) Sheriff of Astrakane. He pledged to support the party with their investigation into the dissappearances. He has complete disdain for the Temple Priest of the village. He is also rather uncharismatic and clearly likes the party.
While the party conducted interviews, Atresk mostly observed them. However, his presence did help the villagers they interviewed be more at ease. He went with them to fight the massive wolf, and sustained a near deadly wound killing the wolf.
The Temple Priest is a terrible person, by nearly everyone's account. He has poor relations with both the Mayor and the Sheriff, and the villager the party talked to disliked him as well.
He is very set in his beliefs, and clearly utter disdain for those who do not have a patron god. He loaned a book out to Fuyuki for him to better explore Uesis.
Fashum Dohke is a former Adventurer's Guild member who is rather famous for an adventurer. His story is one that your characters would know (but one you have not been told by me yet).
Currently, he is a shopkeeper for he and his wife's adventuring gear store, and does the odd quest for the villages around Astrakane. Beyond this, at the behest of Varjo, he is investigating the strange black-clad figure the party saw outside of Astrakane.
Jodové Dohke, Fashum's wife, is a wood-elf. The party briefly saw her when they first met Fashum and later bought some wares from her on their way to Spathi from Barreshield
Currently, she is the travelling shopkeeper of the pair, selling gear to the neighboring towns and guilds. Beyond this, she is also the inventory master of the couple.
The Midhauste Hunters are essentially the Sheriffs of Midhauste. Normally there are seven, but currently, given the events that just occurred in Midhauste, there are just four. Of those four, the party had the most amount of experience with Pettoris Sylya, who seemed to be the impromptu leader, and Elhorne Crare, whose daughter was found dead on the labyrinth table.
Mayor Grokk is the half-hobgoblin mayor of Barreshield. He was not elected to office; rather, he assumed the position of mayor upon the death of the old mayor (he was the equivalent of deputy mayor)
He brought in Nozeful Shunne, a member of the Investigative Guild to discover what was causing homicidal rage in seemingly normal people. In addition, he asked his tribe to reinforce the town guard in their time of need.
Dulmir Urm is a rock gnome and political rival of Mayor Grokk. He believes that the former mayor's hunting accident was not investigated fully, and wants a full investigation to be conducted
Nozeful Shunne is a human investigator from the Investigative Guild in Spathi.
She was invited to Barreshield by Mayor Grokk to quickly solve the case. Beyond this, she also investigated the accused theft of a merchant by Varjo, deciding that there was not enough evidence to convict Varjo of theft.
